About Us

The Thoroughbreds are an elite level girls hockey program for players 19 and under.

The Thoroughbreds are one of the top amateur girl's hockey programs in the country, with 50+ former players going on to play College, National & Olympic Team

Out of 109 Minnesota girls currently playing D1 College Hockey, 27 are former Thoroughbreds. That means 25% of ALL D1 girls from Minnesota are from 1 club ... The Thoroughbreds.

Out of 301 Minnesota girls currently playing D1 or D3 College Hockey, 35 are former Thoroughbreds. That means 11% of ALL D1 and D3 girls from Minnesota are from 1 club ... The Thoroughbreds.

The Thoroughbreds battle in national level tournaments throughout the year and then compete for USA Hockey National Championship at season end.

The Thoroughbreds are a higher level alternative to the Minnesota State High School girls hockey program.

The T-breds play a 50+ accelerated game schedule.

Thoroughbreds play in the Midwest Elite AAA Hockey League - Girls' Division with teams from MN, WI, IL, OH, MI, and Washington DC. Read the MWEHL College Report for information on this year's grads.

This is the most highly recruited league in the country for College Hockey.

The Thoroughbreds host a national level tournament at Highland Arena in St Paul, Minnesota each year. This year the tournament will be the weekend of November 25, 26, and 27, 2005.

The Thoroughbreds provide a summer development program for their current and prospective players
